Happy Mother’s Day to all. These are the sweet gifts that I recieved from my boys and my husband. I feel special today and I hope the mothers amongst you feel special too.
The camera I use for photography is a Canon EOS 550D with an EF 18-200mm kit lens and 70-300mm Sigma macro lens.

I just loved getting little blotchy hand-made cards from my two boys when they were small – it’s the absolute BEST thing for any Mummy to receive from her boys.
These days they’re 21 and 23yrs respectively, and while their girlfriends get highly engineered and fully articulated hand-made cards – (if I’m lucky and they remember) it’s shop-bought ones for me now. Hey ho! Such is the lot for us poor old Mothers of men…

I recall those home made card days fondly too, make the most of them. I got a trip to a seaside beauty spot, and managed to collect a bag of seaweed to sweeten the soil in my greenhouse ready for this years crop of tomatoes!!

I’ll probably be in trouble this year as I wasnt able to speak with my mum – shes on holiday (and is one of the few people I know without a mobile – or rather she never charges it!!). But was able to speak to here today indead! One day late isnt too bad and its the thought that counts
