This is the blossom on my Comice Pear. Strangely, it has a red tinge and almost looks like tiny roses about to flower. But when it’s fully out it looks like this, and is totally white. I’ve never noticed this before. I just love the way that if I look hard enough, I see something different every Spring. Even with vegetables and fruit that I have been growing for years.
Do you know, I’ve seen this but never really taken any notice of it before and you have encouraged me to take more time to look properly. Thank you.
Everything seems to have come on really quickly all at once, I think your blossom will be really nice very soon.
Its great to see the trees coming out at last.
Only 1 of my apple and 1 of my plum trees seem to have survived our exceptionally cold winter so it looks like I will be planting some saplings shortly (And laying in some firewood !)
If we dont look hard enough, we assume and take things for granted. To them, its like changing cloths, from pink pyjama to white wedding gown!!.. aha.
Life is too busy isn’t it? Most the time we walk right past and hardly notice the most beautiful part of our life on earth God’s great creation for us to enjoy.
I’ve had not luck with my pear blooming yet. It is, however, producing beautiful leaves.
It always amazes me how things change not just with the seasons but with the years and yet somehow stay familiar. Sadly most of my observations have been about when and where the weeds are growing.
