Quick Save the Seedlings!

This is me in yesterday’s freak hail storm, running back and forth trying to save my precious seedlings from the advancing water. The guttering was overflowing directly onto them! Eek! I moved them to higher ground but I fear some of them won’t make it. Bah! serves me right for trusting this nice weather we’re having. eRRoR!

  1. oh no! hope most have. have planted out a variety of girls flowers earlier than would like, and most worried about them, they just shot up in greenhouse and ran out of room.

  2. I love that you’ve someone at home willing to photograph you as you run about!

  3. Hope they survived, we’ve not had any rain to speak of in Salisbury for a while now.

  4. The downpour was actually very good for the garden. It gave it that really deep watering that it needed. So far I have only lost one Lettuce! A small miracle.

  5. Glad the damage wasn’t as bad as you feared. We could do with some rain here, but not so violent.

  6. Hi, fab pic hope they all survived. Just found your blog via Tots100 and will be following as love having new blogs to read and also my hubby is a virgin gardener so may get some helpful hints from you!!!
